Searching for the best Twitter app...

Hey, guess who's back, and I hope, for longer this time?
Anyway, happy summer everyone and I'm here with an article. Duh. :D

So, as you've seen, Twitter is becoming more and more popular. And I, as a social network addict (first Facebook, now Twitter.......), can't only be happy with pc app/page/client, especially because I'm usually out somewhere. So then, phone to the help. I didn't actually have a choice with my old Android OS, but when I updated it, I realised I need the kind of app/client that would grant all my needs: automatic updating, nice interface, easy controlling, fast loading, no lagging, picture showing, seeing who retweeted me, no freezing (!!!) and etc. I thought these things will be the only ones, but when I started trying the apps, I realised how bad they can be......

My lab rats.

So, anyway, remembering the old (well not so old, actually, at least for me :DDD) Android 2.1 times, I was really amazed with Tweetdeck for Chrome app. It was (and still is) my favourite because of everything in front of my nose (if you know what I mean; tweets, mentions and DMs are at one place; the only minus is that I don't get notifications when someone retweets me), so I decided to have one on my phone too. Too bad, it didn't show me pictures. And when I finally updated my os, I decided Tweetdeck can and must be changed. So, the first app I downloaded was TweetCaster.

According to play.google.com, TweetCaster is the #1 Android Twitter app with the most innovative features! TweetCaster is the #1 Twitter app for Android and the ONLY app with Search Party – revolutionizing Twitter search for everyone.

Well, I was really happy when I got it: it really was fast and stuff. But then I realised it lags, and big time - maybe we should blame my old ass phone, but I started retweeting stuff I didn't mean to. Even as a retweeting queen. That wasn't a good thing, at all. ._.

TweetCaster

Then I found UberSocial for Twitter app. It's good, they said. It’ll make you feel like an octopus with 8 swiss army knives, they said. And then it started..... "Are you sure?" "Do you want this?" "Do you want that?" Seriously, asking so many questions? No nonononono. I don't wan't it. Not my swag.

UberSocial......

......and its stupidness.

Next up, Seesmic. I liked its layout, and I guess it was kind of a nice app and it may be the best but then my impossible kind of feelings turned on and said "No, this app is shitty, it doesn't update stuff automatically..."  Well fuck you too, mind, and that's the story how Seesmic got dismissed.  Actually it's kinda good, but finally I got it dismissed aswell. Seems like nothing is gonna change the original twitter app for me.

Seesmic.

Plume's description was one of the biggest ones, and when I read it I thought it may be the app of my dreams. I thought the same when I downloaded it: fast loading, hashtag and @ name ending (!!!!!)... Until.... until I realised it sucks at retweeting. It's even worse situation than Tweetdeck for Mobile's was. (check the pic; you'll get what I mean.). So, Plume got dismissed too.

And then, it was turn for TwiDroyd. I actually wtf'd ever since I noticed this kind of app exists. Learn some spelling, dear. The app didn't surprise me aswell. As Piccolo would say, LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME.

TwiDroyd

HootSuite was my almost-last-hope.... And it sucked sooooooo much.  -.- Seriously, why do you even create an app which doesn't even have mentions?...... A cup of logic, maybe. .-.

HootSuite.

And then, last one, TwitPal. Its desciption was even longer than Plume's, and I seriously hoped it'll be a good one. And thank Kami I was right. You can change the background as you want, you can update tweets by shaking the phone, it also ends up the hashtags and @'s... Well. I must say it's the most normal app. Congrats TwitPal, you've won my respect. However, it got too sow for me the next day. DISMISSED.

TwitPal.

Anyway, I think some of you got the question.... Why didn't I write about the original Twitter app? Well, I just wanted something new, and if you really wanna know, I like it, but it freezes way too often. :D
So, that's all guys. Thanks for reading~

Edit: Heh, actually twitter app won... Nice. :D
